THE COMPANY

LOCATED IN LOGROÑO (LA RIOJA)

The company Ebro Same, was founded in 1968 to manufacture and market metallic products and articles derived from wire, iron profiles and stainless steels.

Currently, SAME has distributed in a fully automated production plant of 3,000 m2 and a storage area of 5,000 m2 which allows the control of the entire production and logistics of their products.

Thanks to its creative and innovative spirit and its constant investment in R+D+I projects, in 1994 it develops the first metallic flip-up container for the aging of wine bottled in winery, a key sector in the development of the company.

Currently offers more than 30 different models of roller and horizontal containers that allow to store more than 200 different types of bottles, as well as different models of supports for barrels.

For the manufacture of all our products we use raw materials of very high qualityquality which we combine with automated production means such as robotic welding and the automatic manufacture of the mesh. In the section of treatments and final finishes we offer electrolytic zinc solutions with passivation in chrome and gloss lacquer, as well as solutions in polyester paint polymerizedin the oven. In stainless steels we work with gloss, satin and matt finishes.

Our technical office has powerful 3D design tools for the design of its products and for the optimization of spaces for aging cellars, both in the bottle and in the barrel.

Talking about sales and monitoring of projects, we mention that we have an extensive commercial network with presence in all regions of the Spanish and international geography, emphasizing those territories that have important implementations of companies in the winery sector, usually covered under qualified appellations of origin.

At present, the company has hundreds of facilities spread throughout the national territory, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the USA. It also has among its clients wineries of recognized prestige and large national and international groups.

SAME, EVOLUTION TO OTHERS SECTORS

In the last decade, the company has opted for the diversification of products and catalogs in order to access other sectors, always linked to our main activity. Hence, projects have arisen in sectors such as wind energy (wind turbines), food (cars and containers), furniture, traffic safety systems (vertical signage), hardware, metal structures, exhibitors, greenhouses, etc.

In the winery's own world, new products have been included related to the design of decoration, vintages, sales and leisure areas, always with iron as the base material for the designs.

In this line of constant innovation and evolution, a new line of straightening, cutting and bending of rod up to diameter 12 with variable radius and infinite possibilities of realization of pieces in 3 dimensions has been created.

SAME, THE CHALLENGES OF THE FUTURE

The future of SAME is to remain at the forefront of the development of new products in new sectors and the improvement of existing ones.

In the winery area, will be key issues the improvement in the traceability of packaging within the warehouse through chips and its connectivity with management software, portability and maximization of container folding, the search for new materials and the creation of new structures that optimize the use of space in the warehouse.

In the rest of the sectors, we hope to expand our presence exponentially, with special attention to the possibilities offered by our new 3D rod bending line, which we hope will allow us to attract new clients from new sectors that we did not contemplate until now.
